Economics Georgia Milestone Test, f.k.a. End of Course Test (EOCT)
Welcome, Economics students! Every Georgia high school student will take the EOCT at the end of their economics class, whether that is in December or May.
This page, plus five sub-pages, contains information that will help you study and review for our unit tests as well as the Milestone test. Your tools for preparing for these tests are your notes from class, a text book, our tutorial sessions, plus the documents and videos contained on this website.
Below are some important documents that deal with the entire scope of the test that you will want to look at as you study. In particular, I recommend that you print the DOE's study guide and make sure you are comfortable with the material.
The Economics Standards:

Released EOCT:
The test below is the actual EOCT that was given several years ago. This will give you a good idea of the kinds of questions that were asked on the EOCT; the Milestone test will have more challenging questions. Please note that the answer key has multiple pages--the economics answers are on page 6 of the key.

There are several apps that you may find helpful as you review. Here are some for you to check out:
1. GCEE (the Georgia Council of Economic Education) has a free review app for the Georgia Economics EOCT!!
2. Welker's Wikinomics: This one has videos, flashcards, and something called Economics in Plain English. The website for this is http://www.welkerswikinomics.com/home.html and it contains a lot of the same resources as well.
3. My Pearson economics: this one has flash cards.
4. Economics AP Free: This app has some review of basic concepts, but it also goes into AP topics that we didn't cover. Still, some of the basic material is good to review.
